Terms update notice (2026-10-19)

What changed

• Terms §2 (Effect and Changes) — The effective timing is now split by change type. Changes that do not affect your rights (wording, links, formatting) take effect when posted; urgent changes required by law or security take effect immediately and are announced afterwards; changes affecting business users such as organisers take effect 15 days after notice; other changes that disadvantage users take effect 7 days after notice. Individual notice by email is limited to organisers and to changes that significantly affect your use.
• Terms §11 (Countries Where the Service Is Not Available) — Removed, because no blocking was actually in place, and the following sections were renumbered.
• Account deletion — Removed the 24-hour waiting period after signup. The 30-day restriction on re-registering with the same email remains.
• Privacy Policy — Aligned its change-notice rules with the terms and automated deletion of re-registration records after the 30-day retention period.
